The concept of ABWA was founded in September 1949 and became a national organization with headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri.
The mission of this organization of this organization is to bring together business women of diverse occupations and provide opportunities to themselves and others to grow both personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking and support national recognition.
Polaris chapter was chartered in July 1977 and was sponsored by Starborne chapter of Fairborn, Ohio. A number of presidents have been elected to lead this chapter since 1977. Our Current President is Diana Nance.

- All members will serve as goodwill ambassadors for the American Business Women’s Association.
- Members will not allow their personal beliefs and convictions to interfere with the representation of ABWA’s mission.

- Members will maintain compliance with ABWA National, Chapter and Express Network Bylaws.
